Herb played my Ricky Bakelite on about half the songs we recorded for TUFF FUN TAB and for our upcoming CD.

Here is one of the songs that he played on it.

We know the moniker belongs to the late Mr. Byrd, but Herb demonstrates some magnificent "touch and tone" there!

Is that a T-Logo he's playing there? Sounds like there's some added compression as well?

Thanks

Thanks Guys!

Jim, thank you. We've sent out about 50 TUFF FUN TABs so far, and we've been getting a lot of great feedback. It's very encouraging.

This is it here . .

It's a 1949-51 era model.

I thank if that guy keeps at it he could make very good player one day, and even get to be well known for his steel guitar playing.

Great sound from a master!! I had a Rick like that, a gift from Bobby Ingano. When I got a seven string bakelite, I gave it back to him. We thought it was a 1959 or '60 model year. Someone may have more info on models with that logo plate.

Rick,
Real nice playing and that Ricky, beautiful axe. I'm glad the sales are going well, I enjoy learning the songs on your A6 program.
Your devotion to steel guitar is to be commended.

There are certain players in this world that I call master musicians. Herb Remington is right at the top of the list. Nice to see he is still at it. Like fine wine he gets better with age. I still think he needs to write a book. Loveya pal, Bobby

To quote my favorite movie:

"That's some mighty fine a pickin and a grinnin there boys"

When will the CD be released?

Will there be a party?

The Tuff Fun Tab is great. It really makes you think. I like the A6th tuning on my six string too but sure wish I had one of those panda's.

Rick It's great to see that bOb has your Tuff Stuff in the Forum catalogue and bOb gave both Herb and yourself a great review.

Both Herb and yourself deserve it.
