Here is a video from the Augusta Heritage Center's "Swing Week" 2007.

The video is of an afternoon instructional workshop demonstrating the art and etiquette of a jam session.

Sue Matthews - the vocalist in the video is back this year as well as all the instructors you see in clip.

Also in the video on guitar (sunburst) is Tom Mitchell - Dave Giegerich's old bandmate.

Don't forget, I'm teaching Swing Uke at this year's Augusta Fest - July 13-18, 2008

Hawaiian steel solo by me at about the 3:00 point (shameless self promotion - so sue me).

Gerald's very nice solo starts around 3:00 for those who want to skip the others. Smile

Thanks for sharing, Gerald! Nice job.

Very nice indeed Cool

I like the full "edgy" tone you're getting out of that little Vox amp (I'm sure the Ric and the hands on the steel don't hurt either Winking )

I've used a couple of those very same notes before. You're gonna hear from my attorney, Gerald.

Very nice legs Gerald

In my humble opinion, I think Gerald's bare legs distracted us from his performance. Laughing

Gerald, if you are going to do this again, please shave your legs. Winking

Hot SCHMOT! Youz guyz up north don't know from hot in July until you come to Florida in July. Ughhh... You don't want to bring a metal body resonator because the metal will melt.

Nice solo. Nice knees...
