C6th with or without volume pedal.

Hi, I played a lot of E9 years ago but hardly any C6. I finally found someone in this town who wants to do real country and also western swing. When I get on C6 I find myself really needing the volume pedal but I can't get to all the pedals with my left foot. What do you guys do? Are you moving the left foot for most things? My boowah pedal(Goes to low C) is on the far left. Thanks for any suggestions.
