I have to say they were the highlight of the show!!! Paul Franklin on steel was fantastic (as usual). Dawn Sears brought the crowd to their feet with "Sweet Memories" and I had goose bumps listening to the high part on the second verse...Man what a good group.

Best show I've seen on the Opry in a long time. Don't get any better than Franklin, White and add Dawn & Vince. Super show.

If you have Time Warner Cable...the show is being rerun today at 6PM CDT.

Whats up with the audio on
the GOO? Surely all the instruments
all lined in the mixer. The guitars
sound like coming through a room
mic somewhere.
In comparison to the Crook & Chase
Show, the GOO is lacking in audio
and video.

Doug, I've got the show recorded but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I did listen to it on XM Radio last night on the way to my gig. It sounded like The Time Jumpers got more applause than anybody else on the show. Dawn Sears rendition of "Sweet Memories" is the best I've ever heard. Go see them at the Station Inn in Nashville if you get the chance. It's the best show in town, IMHO.
I hope to see you at the Katy meeting next Sunday. It should be a good one with Jim Loessberg and Dottie Jack.

Larry, I think Dawn Sears is the best voice out there right now....the emotion with which she sings goes straight to the heart.
I am looking forward to seeing you in Katy. Jim and Dottie will do a wonderful job I know. Hope we have a good turn out for them.

Rick, I think you will have to ask GAC about their mix. The TV Network takes feed from the GOO equipment. Whoever is mixing for the network is the one having the problem. It all comes down to "wires".

I think it mostly comes down to "ears".

I watched the show as well. I was nearly late to my gig because I couldn't make my self leave the house before the show was over.
Congrats to the Time Jumpers! Playing on the Opry has to be an honor of sorts. Or maybe it's just me that thinks that way because I've dreamed of playing on that stage for over 30 years. Regardless, job well done...

I talked to Vince last Monday nite he said that it was a last minute thing when they got the call. It was very fortunate that they were all in town and could do it.
