I have the icon running in the bottom. If I right click or double click it, nothing happens. Does it have something to do with Adobe?

Ron;
Please tell us what company this toolbar belongs to and into which browser make and version it is installed. Is it a toolbar you knowingly installed?
Yes, Shockwave is made by Adobe. It is similar to Flash, but different, with richer multimedia content. Shockwave presentations are more like movies than animations. Shockwave can be updated directly at adobe.com, by clicking through the "Get Shockwave" links and buttons. It is always prudent to only have the most current version of Shockwave, Flash, Java, Quicktime and Realplayer on your PC. Many exploits are written specifically for vulnerable versions of these commonly deployed third party tools.
You can run the Secunia Software Inspector to find out which applications need to be updated and have older ones deleted. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum

It's not the toolbar, but things running in the lower right corner. I use explorer and have winxp. I see readersl in start-up. Is this it? |

No. Readersl is part of Adobe Acrobat Reader; namely, the speed loader module. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum
