MOTHER'S HAWAIIAN LUBBABY SOLO

Post by Roy Thomson »

I like going back to an old Lani McIntire Folio
and working on some of his old Hawaiian Songs.
This one was probably written in the 40's. The
pages in this book are brown and withered but
the music is very lovely.

Snap of the music I referenced for this arrangement.
Pretty well note for note. :)

Thanks Richard and Andy.

Mother's Hawaiian Lullaby would be
a great Mother's Day Tribute Song on the
Islands....or anyway else for that matter.

All the best to you both.

Hi ROY,

This is a very beautiful tune & you play it so sweetly. I must say you have a great talent for playing Hawaiian tunes. I truly envy your ability to play this type of music. :)

Roy,

Lovely tune. For some reason the mp3 file shows a length of around 7 minutes while the tune ends at around 4 minutes. Also, a little bit of a swell in the early part of the track.

I think that tune could go places! Is it in the public domain?

Keep up the great music!

Beautiful! Nice playing, Roy, as always. There's Gold in those old song books!
For some reason there is over 2 minutes of silence at the end of your mp3, Roy. If you have any audio editing software you could clip that section off.

I somehow forgot to check the length of that file.
Thanks for the heads up. I made another..

Hope that helps for future viewers.

Thank you Kay and Doug.
