Hi, I'll be playing a few shows between July 26-29 at the Jardin des Tuileries(?) with the Hawaiian falsetto group "Na Palapalai". I was just wondering if there are any steelers in that area...would love to meet up and talk steel, jam, or have a cup of coffee. It'll be my first time in Europe, so I'm pretty excited.

Damn, you are hitting the big time! Just proves the genre is still alive and kicking. Forget about other steel players Jeff, use your free time wisely and find yourself some of those pretty little French girls, ooh la la!

I hope you will enjoy Europe, Jeff! Will you only play in Paris, or are you going to other places as well? Any stopover in the UK?

Cheers,

Fred.

Hey Jesse ... I wouldn't have been surprised to see

"...find yourself some of those pretty little French girls, ooh la la!"

in a letter from 1918!
