Is it feasable to convert a standard 6 string resonator into a 10 string by:
    1. Replacing the neck the one that is wider and will accomodate more tuning machines.
    2. Replacing the tailpiece with one that will support more strings.
    3. Replacing the bridge with one slotted for 10 string (narrower spacing OK)

Or am I better off saving up for a McKenna 10 string. The guitar I would convert is an off the shelf $600 Goldtone by Beard.

Cramming 10 strings onto a six-string frame and neck would be a nightmare. Buy a McKenna and then post photos here!!
