Eddie Ortego at TSGA

Thought I'd mention some good friends from the Orange Texas area who played on the TSGA Show. These pictures are from Eddie Ortego's set. I wanted to recognize these folks since these were the only two dobros (that I saw) featured. I think the ruling class of dobro (resonators) is represented here by Benoit and Beard. Eddie Ortego is playing a Benoit (Carroll Benoit is on guitar) and Mike Auldrige is playing a Beard dobro. Huey Buxton (my favorite fiddle player) on the fiddle. I apologize that I did not get the bass player and drummers names but I must say they were impressive.
