We at MSA very much enjoyed the TSGA show held last weekend in Dallas and have many people to thank for that. Thanks to:

- Albert Talley and his staff for their fine work in attending to all the details large and small that go into such a big undertaking,

- the great Jay Dee Maness for spending time in the MSA room entertaining visitors with his incredible talent on the steel,

- Russ Hicks for his marvelous playing,

- David Wright for displaying his exceptional playing skills and his humorous dialogue,

- Fred Justice for his usual great playing and positive attitude,

- Joe Rogers who also did a great job playing,

- both Frank Carter and Jim Palenscar. Those of you who came to the room no doubt noticed Frank and Jim gathered around the unique work bench that Frank designed and built taking time to alter tunings and add accessories to MSA steels brought in by various members of the MSA family. As most of you know, both Frank and Jim are working with MSA in building MSA steels and MSA is extremely grateful to be associated with both of them. Not only are each of them blessed with amazing abilities; but equally importantly they are each men of the highest integrity. We at MSA could not be more pleased than to be able to work with and rely on both Frank and Jim. A special congratulation goes to Frank who was named runner-up for TSGA player of the year.

- all of those who came in the MSA room to buy or look at MSA guitars, or to listen to great entertainment, or to chat. We are most pleased that the MSA family is growing and growing and, for us, attending shows like the TSGA show is as much about visiting with MSA friends and family as it is about displaying MSA’s line of guitars.

Thanks again to all who made this show a great experience for all of us at MSA. We all look forward to seeing you and enjoying your company again soon.

Best Regards,
Reece

Dave, it was my pleasure to spend my time in the MSA demo room. I sure love sharing my Legend with anyone that wants to sit behind it. Joe Rogers did just that and done a great job as well.

Already looking forward to the next TSGJ in 2009. :D
My thanks as well for everyone that visited with us in the room.

I was not able to be in Dallas, but I'd like to give a big thank you to Frank Carter for the adjustments he made on my SD-12 Legend before we started playing on Sat morning at this years Perl-Jam here in Los Angeles a few weeks ago!
Frank, if you see this, I found the little plastic helper spring attachment widget on the floor in my home practice room, so you were right on, it was not stuck in the changer!!

Thanks to all who allowed me to test drive the guitars. To Fred and David, it was just like running track with someone else's shoes on. Hahahaaa!!! Seriously, your tunings allowed me to see and hear playing possibilities I had not run across as of yet. I had a ball. I was originally scheduled to leave Dallas at 1:00 PM and ended up leaving at 6:00 PM instead. Time flies by when you're having fun. ;-)

I hadn't been to a steel guitar show in 11 years, but I plan on being a regular from now on. It was an awesome weekend. The best part was meeting new friends. Thanks!!!
