I've seen some topics about flight cases but cannot find them now. Does anyone know a company that makes them?

I got a real nice flight case made at Titan Cases here in Seattle.

I had a case built by these guys and I can say they are great to work with and do some real nice work.

I'll concur regarding Texas Case. I ordered a custom case for my Emmons, I wanted something bullet proof and weight was not the issue. 3/8" wood all around, steel rivets, washer backed, rivets every three inches all around, wheels, handles on both ends.

I order my case on a Tuesday and it was delivered to me 10 days later.

Linda prvided great service, quick turnaround, and the case fits my guitar perfectly!

Job well done.

Whatever you buy, remember that the height + width + depth must be within 62" to come within the checked baggage limits. Over 62" and they charge you excess luggage fees. I measured up several of my PSG cases this week, as I'm flying the Atlantic tomorrow, and only one one out of four came within the specifications. Some PSGs even exceed the weight limitations, especially in wooden cases.

Alan, with the guitar, pedal board, legs and rods on board, mine is 85 lbs. But like I said, I wanted it to meet ATA 300 specs so weight be damned.

I bought my flight case from Keeley Cases. He did a great job and I believe his prices are very reasonable.
