My double 12 superslide arrived today.

I'll post some pictures later, but it is beautiful.

For those of you interested the necks are tuned
D
B
G
E
C
A
G
E
D
C
Bb
A

and

D
B
G
E
C
A
G
E
C
A
F
D

the top d is one step higher than the c in stirng 5 and the second string b is a half step lower than the 5th string c

The top neck is an new tuning Reece came up with which, while I haven't explored it yet, immediately gives me a really nice full four note dom7th chord.

Bottom neck is Reece's standard 12 string tuning.

Interesting tunings! On the lower one, what do you do for a C7th?

Can't wait to see the pictures. And don't forget, I have dibs on the single! LOL.

Congrats Bill

When you look at that new tuning you might like to think of the notes at the 4th fret

F#
D#
B........(5th on top)
G#
E
(C#) .....6th
B
G#
F#
E
D
C# (6th in the bass)

Soooooooo ¿what is it?

Its an E9th with a 6th popped in the middle, with a high B (5th) on top and with a 6th on the bottom. Reece´s has done it again. Wonderful. ¿Do you think he´s doing it to promote sales of triple 12s?

The Double 8 has taken a backseat to the double 12 I have to say for the foreseeable future.

whoa..

Just discovered that if I raise the 5th string C on Reece's new 12 string tuning half a step to a C# all sorts of new possibilities open up; dominant 7's, diminished, all sorts of cool stuff.

I post a list later.
