How I spent My St Pats weekend.

Image
From L/R Bill Dobkins- Scotty Henderson- Bobby Caldwell-Monty Davidson-Tony Smith and John Farrell.
I can't remember the drummer's name. Not pictured is Linda Cable on keyboard.
Talk about intimidation, trying to play steel next to Scotty and six string with Bobby C. It was a blast to get to play with these guys. Thanks so much for the invite.

Yea and he has great hair to.

I tried to steel some licks from Scotty H but he plays so fast its just a blur. Bobby C is awesome and a good singer to.
The highlite of the evening were the stories these guys told. Monty Davidson and Tony Smith kept me in stitches.

Hey Bill, that is a great way to spend the St Pats.day,I went to school with Monty Davison at ashland Mo.and got to play music with him years ago.If you talk to him, would you tell him I said hello, where was the jam at? He will know me as(flop)Batye,a nickname I have had back there from the time I was nine years old. That is a great group of players you are with.
Thanks,

Dean, I will gladly do that. John Farrel has a big garage that he converted into a little dance hall, with stage and everything. He lives in osage beach. Its really neat.
