Which seems to be more desireable,,,Stringmaster or Deluxe,,,why,,??

Personally, I think the stringmaster is more desirable, for these reasons: the body is more compact, and the volume and tone controls are more easily accessible. The stingmasters always seem to cost more.

It'a personal choice with no right or wrong. I had 2 '56 Stringmasters, a 22 - 1/2" & a 24" and I never warmed up to them. I seem to like the older Dual Professionals. Someone else might feel exactly opposite. I will conceed that Stringmasters cost more usually.
