Roy I hear you have music for SUKIYAKI. The tune has been in my head for the last couple of days. I want to learn it on my pedal steel.

Thanks

Please do not forget another Japanese tune that Roy recorded titled HANA. Those Roys versions of Sukiyaki and Hana are superb, and are as great as originals in my opinion. Hana was originally recorded by Okinawan group Champloose and Ry Cooder in Hawaii in 1980, since then the song has been recorded and sung by so many artists throughout East and Southeast Asia. I believe David Lindley recorded it in Madagascar in early 90s. Sukiyaki (Ueo Muite Arukou) is still one of the best Kayoukyoku (popular songs) in Japan.
