Anyone ever tried these?



They look interesting. Wish I could see how they are worn.

Where did you find those? They look very interesting since they don't stick out from the finger the same way most plastic picks does.

The are for sale at Elderly. They come in Delrin and polycarb, which is supposed to be harder. I am intrigued.

I hate it when there are two different types to choose from..... So I ordered one pair of each, the shipping was more than the picks. Elderly have really upped their shipping charges, a few months ago something like this would have cost $7 or $10 in shipping, now it's suddenly $22..

I find myself playing more and more without any picks at all these days, usually only use them on the weissenborn and a flatpick on guitar if I need to play some fast stuff. But I'm always curious about new stuff, so....

I'm just guessing, but I think those are to be worn similar to the aLaska Pik, alowing the use of either the fleshy part of the finger, or the finger nail/ pick.
Or I could be totally wrong.

After looking closer at them I think you may be right, Tim. On the Elderly website they claim that they're well suited for 'frailing', which indicates that they're meant to be worn with the covered side over the nails.

I did the same thing Steiner. Two sets, delrin and polycarb. I ordered them from the manufacturer and shipping was a bout $5 here in the states. The other variable is the size. I ordered large hoping that size will be right for my fingers. I've had something like this design in my mind for awhile, but I couldn't figure out how to make them. You know, maybe it's a good thing not knowing which way they're worn. I know I intend to try them both ways, up and down to see what feels and works best for me. I also went ahead and ordered a delrin thumbpick. I got it from elderly cause the manufacturer only had packs of 24 listed. Pick - $0.80, shipping $4.80. What a bargain.

during my googling I saw them in pics used both ways.

I guess I'll order a set too and see what we have. Not too much to lose.
