Darrell and Tom will headline San Antonio Rose LIVE the first country music variety show to appear on the River Walk. I understand there will be six performances and at least one matinee each week starting around June 1st.

Thanks for posting this Don! This has been in the works for quite a while. I am glad to see it finally coming to pass. And I for one am VERY excited to have Tom Brumley here in San Antonio.
Wonder if Tom will be giving any lessons? _________________ Tommy Detamore

I'm having a hard time reviewing that web site.It loads, I see it, then everything but the background disappears. Weird. I also found hyperlinks by moving my mouse around, and they work, but the page it goes to quickly disappears too. Something must be crazy with MS IE7. Anybody else having the same problem? _________________ Steeless. |

I peeked at the code, and this site was built with iWeb, which is a component of Apple's iLife suite which ships with all new Macs. As fond as I am of the Mac platform, I would never use iWeb to build a serious website.
I did a little searching and there apparently are issues with Internet Explorer 7 and iWeb.
I would be curious to know if those of you who are having problems are:
Using IE 7 as your browser. (Like Ken)

That's cool. San Antonio really needs a venue for country music. |

Tommy - I checked my Java settings.
These two have checks by them:
"Use JRE 1.6.0_03 for <applet>(Requires restart)"
"JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled (requires restart)"
NOT checked are:
Java Console Enabled
Java Logging Enabled
I'm thinking about reverting to MS IE 6.0. I'm even having trouble viewing YouTube videos linked from the Forum and otherwise. Weird stuff happening that didn't happen in IE 6.0.

Java and Javascript are really two different things. There are some instructions detailing how to disable either of them here:

IE 7 is a step in the right direction from IE 6 in terms of standards compatibility, but it is not without its quirks. Before you go back to IE 6, have you ever tried Firefox? It's my favorite on the Mac as well as the PC.
Sorry if this thread is getting too off topic... _________________ Tommy Detamore
