I haven't had a chance to post the pictures I took at the last jam, too many irons in the fire with all the touring and everything else. The touring is done and I hope to have them up soon.

Ernie & Dave,

Last time I was there nobody cried when I played. In fact, they were real friendly; everyone just smiled at me. A few laughed right out loud.

We will need a Bass player for the jam. Bernie Waldon is working some shows with Kent Westbury (he wrote "Love on a Hot Afternoon" that Gene Watson had a hit with).

Thanks to all the steel players last night.
We had another great jam.
Also thanks to the band for their tiresome work behind us.
It was so nice to have Tom Murphy join us last night on rhythm guitar after a long absence do to family matters.
Thanks to all who came to listen.
We can't do it without you.
Don

Dave, sorry about the mug. We had 3 left and I decided to just give them away at the jam.

Hopefully we will have something else for the club members for Christmas this year.

To further explain the mugs, they were given to those on our club member list which you were not on.
You came and played as a guest only.
You should have asked, it was not up to us to do it.

I finally made it to the meeting/jam. I thoroughly enjoyed all the playing. Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet many of you. I got there about 30 minutes late and had a long drive home, so I didn't linger much. I managed to check out Bobby's GFI, since I'm interesting in buying one of my own. He was generous enough to invite me to sit behind his GFI and try out the leg room and pedal/knee movement. I'll be away in April, but I'll try to get back in May. I'd like to get on the list as a member if possible, though I'm a long ways from being able to play at the meeting.

I made it this month and had a great time. It was my first time and I met a lot of nice people who made me welcome. A few of the players had never seen a Williams Steel and were interested in it. There sure are a lot of good players in the club and it inspires one to go home and practice more. (or sell his steel) ha ha

Larry , new to Florida.

Ken if you want on the club e-mail list, send me your e-mail and I'll put you on the list.

Larry, welcome to the club. If you didn't give my wife, Trudy, your e-mail send me your e-mail address too. I thought you fit in good with the club's pickers.

I have a lot of people on the club's list that don't pick or only attend occasionally. I've got over 100 names on the club list (and I consider them all members).
