New Rittenberry

Just received this beautiful piece of American craftsmanship today. It's truly a marriage of art and engineering.
The tone is superb. I've played (mostly) Emmons push-pull guitars for 27 yrs. I've owned a total of 7 different Emmons and they all sounded great. This new Rittenberry sounds every bit as good as anything I've owned - and it plays so smooth.
I wil be playing this guitar in Dallas, and will have it available at my booth if anyone wants to take a closer look. jc

Oh yeah, it came with a "fits-like-a-glove" Justice case too!

jody....beautiful! kinda zumsteelish...but maybe more tasteful.
i do wish manufacturers would spend a few seconds on better nameplates. my zum is the same kinda decal...would it kill them to make a nice screw on quality looking nameplate? (still a great looking steel)

Do you really want an ugly screw-on mameplate? At least with a decal you can take it off. The old Emmons ones don't look half bad, though. I always thought it would be cool if they could do a "punchout" in the formica for a formica "inlay."

Congrats Jody,I knew you would love it. Can't wait to hear you play it. I'm just a little jelious though. Maybe I'll get one someday.
Enjoy my friend. By the way I haven't forgot the lessons, maybe Dallas if we have time.

sure is purdy...
as to the name plate....
at least they could've left out the "steel guitars" part.
i mean, come on.
we already know what it is.

Looks great, Jody! One of these days, I'll hope to hear you play it.
(I was trying to calculate how long it's been since I heard you play and have concluded that I can't actually count that high...

She's a beauty!!! Then again, anything that Gary Rittenberry builds is gonna be good.
This kind of makes me want to sell my LaGarritt to buy a new Rittenberry. If Gary hadn't built my LaGarritt so solid, I'd sell it in a heartbet just to turn around & buy a new Rittenberry.
I love how nice & clean he keeps the undercarriage. There's alot going on down there but, it's all super easy to work on. Lot's of adjustment options too.
Jody is a lucky man. Enjoy the heck out of it!!! It'll last a lifetime & then some.

Thanks Brandon for your kind words about the mica work on Jody's new Rittenberry.
I would like to point out though, that I can only take credit for the custom front apron work, and not the intire cabinet. As this guitar is Rittenberry built thru and thru.
Happy picken you all.

BTW- Jody
I wasn't putting down the nameplate on your guitar- I think it looks great. I was just saying that a screw-on one like Chris was talking about wouldn't look as good. To each his own, though.
Sorry for any confusion
