The red velvet in the keyhead is unique, too. Perhaps this was a showcase type of guitar?

It's a 66 bolt-on, S-10 S/N 2448.

Cliff, the velvet is just laid in there to keep the dust out.

Looks like something that somebody added, to me. I think that if it were an original "Emmons" item, it would have definitely had their trademark chevron below the Emmons name.
