Hello All,
Just checking in as a newbie to the forum. I played a bit of lap steel back in my teenage years. That was a while back (66 now) but I always loved the pedal steel. I was country when country wasn't cool and still am. My wife got tired of hearing "I always wanted a PSG" so a couple of years ago she bought me a used MSA semi classic for our anniversary. A year later I upgraded to a new Carter S-10 from Al Brisco and have been enjoying ever since. Got a long way to go but love it.

Welcome Bruce. You can't go wrong dealing with Al Brisco. The great thing about steel guitar is no matter how much you learn it seems just to scratch the surface of what's there on that darn machine. There's absolutely nothing, nothing like the Steel guitar!

Thanks Brian & Charles for all the great posts and Youtubes, I have and will learn a lot from those.

Even though I was born & raised in Ontario, I really enjoy your neck of the woods. Good folks down there.

And Terry, thanks for the welcome. Saskatchewan is great too but can be a bit nippy this time of year ha, ha.
