When i first learned the banjo, I tried to learn many of the different commonly used tunings.
They were all nice and each had its advantages, but it took way too much effort to constantly retune.

It was a happy day for me when I decided to play everything in G tuning only.

And what is the point of multiple tunings for a PSG anyway? I mean, one of the nicest things of all about a pedal, is that once you know it in one key, you know it in them all!

Back in 1960 I had a Wright Custom four neck eight string like Barbara's with eight pedals. It was a blast, but it's like playing on a card table. I used E7, C6, A6 and E13 tunings
