When I worked at Elderly Instruments people would come in at least once a week with a violin they found in their grandmother's attic. The instrument always had a label that read "Stradivarius". They didn't believe me when I told them the fiddle was worth $50.

I have an eight string bakelite Rickenbacher Electro in near perfect condition. Wake me up when that bid reaches $20,000.
