Here is something for ya guys to think about.
i dont know if anyone has had this trouble with a session 500 before. The trouble was when sound started breaking like a radio when you tune a channel and the effect was getting lower and lower. My session 500 has been in my parents storage for several years ago that it was thrown away but mt parents didnt do that so i am very lucky that it didnt happend. So know im gona have someone to give this great amp a new life as it should be. but one thing i just dont remember, and that is where the heck did i put the knobs. also what could be helpful also, is that if there is anyone who knows where to get these knobs. Its a little shame when this one got broke when you think that there aint so many session 500 amps here in Finland, what i know they are only few.

Does that have pot shafts to put the knobs on? Hard to see in that picture, Dont know what electronic stores you have there, but you might find some "universal" knobs. Dale

Peavey has them in stock. All grey, no other color available. Ask for N-400 knobs. They will work. Call Mike or email him via the Forum.

You will need to order the nuts for the pots as well.

While you have it dis-assembled spray the pots since it has been in storage. One thing you will find out about this amp is that the settings are fine-adjustment. What I mean is you don't have to move a knob but a small amount to change the tone that you are looking for. Once I had my tone desired, I took the knobs off and put them straight up so if they moved I could put them back. This is a great amp that to me has a special sound of it's own. Just wished they weren't so heavy. I carried mine on the road for several years till my arm bout gave out. Then I started using two Nashville 400's.
