Well Ive been in Dallas getting settled into my new job. Today was the first time ive had time to go out. This afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting and listening to Mr Mooney play some great steel guitar. The band was chock full of great players from Bob Wills band, and Hank Cochrans as well. This was a real treat, and a great introduction to some Texas hospitality. I joined the TSGA today, and cant wait to meet many of you in Dallas this year....Mickey _________________ ARTIST RELATIONS: MSA GUITARS

Hi Mickey: Welcome to the TSGA. Sorry I missed you, the place was packed. It's always a great pleasure to hear The Great Ralph Mooney. I was real Impressed with the tone he was getting with that little Peavey Bandit 112 he was using. I ask him where his Webb was.....Home it's too heavy. |

I was planning on coming up and had other things come up at the last minute.I know you guys had a great time.I've had the priviledge of hearing Mr. Moon several times at the monthly meetings. He usually takes request, and of course plays a lot of the tunes he played on Waylon's records. Mr. Mooney is one of my favorites |

Besides "Crazy Arms", he wrote probably my favorite song, "Falling for You" that Wynn Stewart got out there. Many more as well, though I'm having trouble finding a list of them.
Anybody have a list?
