WHERE: WE’RE MOVING OUR SHOW TO NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE THIS YEAR. THE SHOW WILL BE AT THE TEXAS TROUBADOUR THEATER ON MUSIC VALLEY DR., WHICH IS JUST ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE OPRYLAND HOTEL.
WHEN: Friday May 2nd and Saturday May 3rd of 2008. This will be our 16th annual show and we are expecting a great time with plenty of gospel music featuring the steel guitar.
DIRECTIONS: Take Briley Parkway to the East side of Nashville and get off at exit 12 which is McGavock Pike. Go to the first traffic light and turn right which is Music Valley Drive. You will see the Cracker Barrel restaurant, Fiddlers Inn motel next to each other on the left hand side of the street. The theater will be next to the Fiddler’s Inn as they share the same parking lot.
MOTEL ACCOMODATIONS: We have negotiated a room rate of $60.95 a night plus tax with the Fiddler’s Inn for those of you who wish to stay there. You may call them at 615-885-1440 and make your reservations. The code for the discount is “gospel steel”. There are several other motels on Music Valley Drive that are a short driving distance if you do not wish to stay at Fiddler’s Inn.
We will have 20 or more steel players scheduled on the show and we will also have a great back up band to help add to the quality of the show. There will several Nashville Musicians as well as many of our regulars from a variety of places around the country. There will be displays of steel guitar related products and the show will be video taped for an edited 2 hour(approx) DVD that will be available around Labor Day.
ADMISSION AT THE DOOR:
Friday May 2nd $20.00 7:00p Until 11:30p (Central Time)
Saturday May 3rd $30.00 9:00a Until 6:00p (Central Time)
Both Days $45.00
There are many things to do while you are here besides our show.
The Grand Ole Opry is very close as it will be moving back from the Ryman to the Opryland Theater. The Midnight Jamboree is in the same theater as our show. The Sunday morning service of Cowboy Church is also in the same theater as our show. Opry Mills shopping mall is also right around the corner. There are several other sights to see and things to do in Nashville while you are here. |

This show has been my favorite and the fellowship is awesome. I am looking forward to being there. My sax guy from Minnesota will be there also.
