I really had a great time at the first Blues Jam with Michael Holland. For those of you who have never heard Michael, he is a good steel player (plays a Fessy), but he is an awesome guitarist as well. He has this unique method of playing with a pick and his fingers at the same time. His tone is killer and he also does great vocals. The jam is Thursday nights and it is a fun time. I beleive that "Shorty Rogers will be there next Thursday. Blessings, Albert _________________ Williams D-12 9x7, Emmons PP D-10, 8X5, Quilter SteeAire amp. |

Beginning Feb 14, Dad's Lounge in Nashville will host a Thursday night jam from 8:30 to 12:00. Everyone's welcome to play; bring your own instruments and we'll supply amps, drums and mics. Dad's is located at 709 Spence Lane, at the Murfreesboro Road/Spence Lane intersection and next to the Super 8.

Sorry, guys. Due to low attendance, the club is cancelling the Thursday night gig. It was a good idea, anyway... |
