Many thanks to Ron Victoria for coming out to the New Jersey Folk Festival and supporting my band WARM HEARTED COUNTRY!
It was pleasure meeting him, and we appreciate the photos he took, adjusting my microphone when I switched from banjo back to Dobro and lugging the banjo back to my car after the performance!
Seems almost everyone is amazed to Leno; Beard; and Jerry Douglas capo's work by floating on the strings without clamoing them to the neck. Don't steel bars work the same way? Think about it!
And many thanks to Jimmy Cohen for joining us for the performance and presenting a terriffic pedal steel guitar workshop. The MC called it "the sound of paradise", and it truly is, especially in Jimmy's hands. Not only is Jimmy an incredible musician, but one of the finest gentlemen I've ever been privelidged to share a stage with.

Joe, it was my pleasure to join you and Warm Hearted Country for this great day in the sun. You guys have a terrific sound and it was my privilege to contribute. As the Bee Gees wrote: "Nobody gets too much heaven anymore..."

Take good care and keep up that fine dobro playin'!

I had a good time. It's always a pleasure to meet other players and talk about music. As for the pictures, I do my billing at the end of the month. You were right. You said look for the guy wearing a cool hat.

'til we meet again, Ron
