Well Frank beat me to it, but Doyle Ghrisham was the man of steel and he done several recordings with the Glaser Brothers.
I believe he done several other recordings with them and wasn't he the guy also who cut the hit with Randy Travis titled "1982"?
Never met Doyle, but I have always heard good things about his steel playin'.
May GOD bless

Doyle Grisham is a dear friend of mine, PLayed in a band with him in Texas in early 60's. Yes he played steel on several Glaser Brs Records and was their steel player on the road for several years and played steel on Randy Travis's first CD. Played Steel for Lynn Anderson on her road trips. He is presently playing steel for Jimmy Buffet and has been with him for several years. Doyle is a great steel picker and a great friend, Shorty |
