What would be a ballpark value on a single neck stringmaster, two black pickups, tone, volume and a blend pot at the bridge with three legs, walnut color, tweed case . The finish is all on the guitar in good condition, normal wear and tear. The tweed case is solid but the tweed is ripped up pretty good. The bridge cover is still on the the instrument. Chrome in good shape.

Just a good ballpark figure is all I need.

Bill,
From what you're describing it sounds like it's a Fender deluxe 8.

These are single neck steels built like a stringmaster with the blender control mounted under the bridge cover. New ones are only available now from Fender/Japan. I would say anything below $1000 would be OK depending on the condition of the guitar. We got my wife this D-8 Fender Stringmaster back in Novemeber. I've had it re-painted and now it's a fantastic instrument. NR
