Many, many, many years ago I heard a song called "He knows all the ways" and the lyrics continues "to love and keep me loving him". Performed by Tammy Wynette and I think it was late 60`s or maybe early 70´s. I listened to it from a Stereo 8 cartridge, in my car, and it made me ride my car a lot. If my memory serves me right there was an outro from a steel guitar that´s still on my mind. Unfortunately the stereo 8 is out of fashion and the vinyl is not to find in Sweden. Fellow steel pickers, I´m placing all my last hopes on you. If there´s anyone of you out there who has a clue on where to obtain the vinyl or a single copy please let me know.
Thanks a lot for your efforts.
//Kjell

Man... I worked with her for years, and I don't remember that one. Are you sure that was the title, or just part of the lyric?

Sounds like "He Knows All the Way to Love" from the album "We Sure Can Love Each Other".

I don't know if that's still in print though.

Wow... now that's some cool stuff! That was certainly before my tenure. She never did that one while I was with her...

That's a perfect example of the Pete Drake style that I started a thread about a while back, that combines some "6th" voicings with some of his classic "E9th" style licks. But E9th for sure with the stuff he's doing in the lower register...

And thanks as always, Walter!

I knew that there are steel pickers on this forum but to my surprise there´s some magicians as well. I sure am impressed Walter and I´m ever so grateful. Thank you Walter. It seems Michael is impressed too. Did you like it?
