Okay, friends, it's that time again! Time to play, "Let's Help Jimbeaux Name His New CD". Remember how much fun we had last time? Smile Smile

The theme of the new CD, believe it or not, is Country Music! Yes, you heard that right. (I can hear the gasps now - 'What will he think of next?' you ask!)

As with my previous release, 'Home, James', I invite y'all to submit titles here on this thread (keep 'em clean, need I say?). I'll make a cut of semifinalists to vote on in 'The People's Choice' contest at the next stage of the game (in about 7-10 days?).

If I choose anyone's suggested title, they'll win a free copy of the CD. Plus, I'll give free CDs to the 2 top winners of 'The People's Choice' contest.

The tunes include:

I Always Get Lucky With You
Green, Green Grass of Home
Shuffle Off to Tupelo
Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain
The End of the World
Neverending Song of Love
Mansion on the Hill
Tennessee Waltz
Let It Be Me

... and maybe a bonus track or two

By the way, guest artists on this disc include: Bobby Flores, fiddle; Alex DePue, fiddle; Mike Ihde, guitar; and Dan Kleiman, keyboards.

Okay, Let the games begin!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All decisions by the Judge (that would be moi) are final and unassailable (and anyone who says different is itching for a fight and should start their own contest.)
p.s. I expect to release the CD in time for the Dallas show in March.
"Cohen Country"
"Cohen, Cohen, Gone (Country)"
"Cohen's Classic Country"
"James Does Country"
"What's This Country Comin' To?"
"Jim Cohen Proves (at long last)That He Can Actually Play Country Music"
"What Jeff Newman Tried To Teach Me, But I Refused To Learn Until Now"
Just pokin' some fun on a couple of 'em, Jim Bob! Put me down for a copy. I was listening to "Home,James" yesterday, and was marvelling at the tone and execution. This one should be just as good.
At so many levels, how could it be anything other than "Acceptably Country"?
"Is Anybody 'Cohen' To San Antone?" Perhaps Charley Pride could suffice as one of your bonus tracks, thus naming your album appropriately.
