Don't forget all you pickers and fans coming to the Northeast Iowa Steel Guitar Show in Waterloo Iowa on Feb 23-24, there will be an open jam on Friday night Feb 22. We will start around 6 pm, no charge at the door for this. Come and sit in or just come and listen. The jam is at the Electric Park Ballroom this year same place as the show for convenience. Look forward to seeing you all. Kirk

Kirk, This a great improvement over the other jam locations in past years. And...what better place to have it. I'm glad the Electric Park Ballroom has become available on friday night for your organization to hold the jam. You just can't get much better than that!

Well it did cost us for it......but, this will help out the sound crew who can set up Fri AM instead of starting at midnight on Friday and just get everything in and tweaked by 10 AM Saturday. This will be a "pre-conference" meet and greet. Come on in, meet new friends or get reaquainted with "old ones" (I don't mean age-wise) Embarassed

See ya'll on Friday night at the jam. Oh BTW- I hear Scotty may be joining us Friday night too......... Kirk

Not sure I'm going to be able to make it this year, but afer reading Kirk's post I think it'd be fun to play "musical chairs" and everyone be required to move over one seat and play the steel next to that person Whoa! The location change for the circle jam will be an improvement though.

Hope you can make it down Kevin. As far as the musical chairs idea.............that would be hilarious,,,,but I'm not sitting next to Detweiller. Razz

If Scotty is gonna be there, you guys that are jamming better practice St. Louis Blues, and Drowsy Waters. Whoa! Cool
