Ouch!
I've been letting my kids (2 and 4 yr old boys) play my instruments...sometimes without supervision. Well, my Carter D-10 got a hard push face plant on a concrete floor the other day. It knocked a dime sized chip of the formica top out of the front apron to the right by the changer. I was mortified! @#()*$&#@()$*&@#($*@#&$(!!!!
But...It didn't even knock it out of tune.
No body crack, no detuning. nada. zilch. A little crazy glue and...no problemo!!!
Lessons:
1. Don't let your boys use your steel as a pommel horse.
2. Get a Carter. Or at least pat those folks on the back for building a steel built (at least sort of) like a tank.
Thank you! John, Bud, and Ann

It is my understanding from reading the forum that it is John, Bud and Ann's fault that Carter doesn't make sturdier gymnastic equipment. |

I guess the fine folks at Carter will now see what happens when they send color samples for people to help them choose for their guitar purchase. Obviously, Woobie is a natural on the foot pedals, but Beeper seems more interested in the picks & bar aspect of the instrument.
