What type or brand of laminate polish is best for high gloss Mica? I've seen a thread on this before, but I can't locate it in a search.

Thanks,

bUd

When I got my mica guitar, the manufacturer recommended using Meguiar's No. 7 car polish on the formica.

Works OK for me, but YMMV.

I use a Teflon based car polish on my Franklin. Along with protecting the finish (I use it on the entire guitar - fretboards, polished aluminum and mica) the car polish also resists finger marks.

What I'm using is a flea market brand, "Las Vegas Show Car Polish" but probably any Teflon based would do a similar job.
