I had an Rh-2 a few years back. But I sold it. Having a new need for a guitar that was a little easier to carry around than my console, I recently bought another one. But it doesn't seem like the old one. It feels lighter. And I think the tone is a little thinner, too. Does anybody know if they've changed their design or materials?

I haven't heard anything either way. Have you tried contacting Chandler directly? I'm sure they would be able to confirm whether or not they've changed their manufacturing process.

Yup. Did that. Haven't heard back yet. It's still a decent guitar. But my memories of my other one are better. I'm definitely interested in finding out if it's all in my head.

they did change the pickup on newer ones. Paul Chandler is a good guy and might get you an old-style pickup.

I like the MOTS, but tinted lacquer would work to re-colour it.
