Here is a new tune on steel trying to capture the spirit of Claude Debussy's soft and tender masterpiece written for piano.

It was published in 1903, part of the Suite Bergamasque, " Clair de Lune" constitutes the third of four movements. As with much impressionist music, the chord structures are rather diffuse. It was originally written in the key of D flat. I have played it in the key of C; it modulates to D, E and B flat ( and maybe others). I found it to sit well on the B11th tuning. " Clair de Lune" is also known as "Moonlight".
