Good thing it's a black and white photo.
Hopefully it's a sports coat and not a suit. Can you imagine the matching pants?

I also wore the crazy suits. The reason was, if you don't remember the tune I was playing, you would surely remember the suit I was wearing and I needed the exposure. If you can't get it by your playing ability get it by the way you look. You have just proved either one will get you remembered.Use what works.

I seriously beg to differ on Michael's last point. The 60's had the greatest choice of styles in clothing, especially for young adults. Nothing really matched the stores full of great togs of all types. Just the shoes alone were more boss than most anything before or since. You just had to have good taste and shop at the right places. Not to mention the custom designers!
The 60's had pretty much the best of everything, and with very few exceptions it's all gone downhill since.
