I also use a cooler , two fans plus i get four extra USB ports. The make is Akasa. I do a lot of video work and recording, the laptop gets pretty hot ( HP Pavilion DV9000 ) Here in Spain in the summer the temperature is in the forties and not possible to have the AC running when recording.. another tip for laptops is to get a small keyboard and not use the keyboard on the laptop as too much tapping keys will sooner or later cause damage..

You can purchase a metal mesh laptop stand at Wallmart. It is made by Rubbermaid. The metal mesh acts as a heat snyc and gives additional air space between the laptop and tabletop. You can also adjust the angle of the laptop base making keyboard access less difficult. following is Rubbermaid's site. http://www.ontimesupplies.com/Distinctions_Laptop_Stand_skugroup_34371.html
