...does that mean they're reunited, or is it just Johnny marketing himself as Santo & Johnny ?

At 02:53 PM 2/5/2008, you wrote:
Your concert dated Friday Feb. 15th, lists Santo and Johnny as one of the acts.
Is this billing correct ?
Sincerely

And the reply :-
I bet it could !!

FALSE ALARM:
This ad is from Johnny Farina's MySpace page:
The venue or the promoter must have screwed up the advertising... or maybe it was intentional?
This is just one more example of the continuing confusion surrounding Santo & Johnny - Johnny Farina. It doesn’t help that Johnny’s web site address is santoandjohnny.com.

Hi Basil,
I appreciate this information. We advertise what is given to us by our promoter, Live Nation as well as the radio station, 92.5. If you wish to take this up with them, please feel free to do so. I would hope they are aware of this, but perhaps not!

Do you notice that on their album covers there is no mention of "steel guitar" or "Hawaiian guitar" ? The predominant image seems to be a woman against a background, typically a beach. Only on one cover does a steel guitar appear, and on one it has been intentionally blanked out, so you can't see what Santo is leaning on.

Yes, the Marketing Dept. knows what sells records, and what doesn't!
