I am currently running 2 Fender Deluxe Reverbs connected to an A/B footswitch. I also have a seperate 8ohm 2-12 speaker cab that I use with one of the amps. I would like to connect both amps to the external cab if possible.
Can I safely connect both amps to the same 2-12 speaker box via their ext speaker jacks without damage to the amps? |

With all the talent on this forum, I just know that there are some folks out there that can answer this question. |

Two amps should never be connected to the same speaker.
I'd rewire the extension cabinet (adding another jack) so you're using one of it's speakers with one amp, and the other speaker with the other amp. |

Thanks Donny, I pictured the output from one amp going into the ext. speaker output of the other amp and I knew it would spell trouble. I just needed verification. |
