I want to give a shout out to fellow Michigan steeler and forumite Ryan Gimpert - our bands played at The Ark in Ann Arbor last nite - instant steel guitar club - Ryan plays a Pro 1 > Twin and sounds great - we're both Al Marcus fans!

cheers,
Drew

Drew, you ever play at the Blind Pig there in Ann Arbor anymore? Sounds like you've moved up to the bigger venue.

HEY BILLY!

I played a guitar gig @ The Pig (Watusis 25th year reunion) in August.

I remember seeing you and the VV Boys play there awhile back. Our jaws were on the floor!

cheers,
Drew

Shocked Whoa! Surprised

Hey Drew; is it really true that RED GUITARS sound better? Have to practice on my Zum Stage One a little bit more; I do know that Jeff's guitar surely proves that very point. But, then, any colored guitar that Jeff played sounds better..Bernie Oh Well Oh Well

Very Happy Smile Cool
Steve, Tommy and John: I was beginning to think that I was the only forumite addicted to " The Miswest Jamboree" on Saturday nites. I agree with you all on the subject of the Williams being featured with the likes of Mr. Johnnie Cox; what an out-standing steel player. And of course, does anyone not love Maurice's playing; whether it's a lap or pedal guitar. And, naturally, the big "E" was doing his expertise along with the Hag, on the other show. And if there are any "TOMMY WHITE" fans, be sure to watch him and Wanda Vick on "The Crook & Chase Show" on Thurs. Eve at 7:00 P.M. and again on Sat., same time..They are going to be regulars on the show.. Salute>>>..Bernie Very Happy Rolling Eyes
