Does anyone have an opinion of these? I have an opportunity to get a real deal on one. I know it's a heavy amp, so I'll use a small dolly... This one has 2 BW 12's and seems like it would be a decent clean amp. I use a different unit for overdriven stuff. I'll be using a fake tube (thanks to that preamp thread, I never laughed so hard) for a preamp. |

Ive got one and its a GREAT sounding amp. I usually run straight to it with no preamps, FX, and such in between the guitar and amp. I love it!! Youll like it alot! |

Hi Keith!!!.. hey I had a Deuce for decades.. Mine had 2 Fender labeled D120 JBL's installed.. It was a GREAT amp for steel... Real nice tone, louder than you'll ever need really.. I miss mine... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!

I have a Deuce which has been cut down into a head and I put it through 1 or 2 12" EV SROs...I think it's a great sounding amp for steel just the way it is...YMMV |

I can vouch for brett I've heard his rig a few times he's got agreat sound BUTTTT! he also can play the fire out of that Derby too! He a Super steel player.
Players like Brett would sound good with a shoe box with transistor radio speaker in it. _________________ Emmons D-10, Performance D-10, 2 Nashville 1000s, Nashville 400 W/fox Mod.
