Well, I used to have #639 which I bought brand new through Frenchy's
pedal steel guitar shop. That was in 1978, so that's around the same time
yours was made. If all other owners chime in on this thread, you could make up some sort of listing
(as long as they're the original owners and remember what year they got theirs).

Jay:

Here's an old link to a few Webb serial numbers. I don't think anyone has established a serial number list. Wonder if Tom Bradshaw could shed some light on the subject?

Here's another dot to connect.

Mine's #791, black, bought from Tom Bradshaw in '78. Circuit boards are hand marked with July, 1978.

It's been re-capped with the Sarno recommended components.

Bob, how do you like the sound after having the Webb
re-capped with the Sarno recommended components, and who did the work.
I am thinking about having the same work done on my Webb.

Thanks,
Glenn

I just bought a Webb # 801 a few months ago from a forum member, B/W 1501...Yes it's heavy but the tone
this thing kicks out is worth the extra weight.
Love it....
