Well its time to anounce the 3rd Yuma jam.It will be taking place the 20 of January here at the beautiful desert lakes clubhouse. We expect to have some GREAT pickers here. I think Fred Justice Frank Carter,Chuck Back, just to name a few. This year we will have A potluck lunch. Bud Isaacs will probably be in the area. If your going to the Mesa show you might as well stop by and do some picking on the way there. WE are having it on a sunday so all the sat night pickers can come. Jim Barron , email me and let me know if you can bring the Band in the box.

Hap,
I would really like to make the jam, but I'm not going to make any plans.
I was really dissapointed about not getting to make the Car Port jam at Rays this year. Planned on it for 2 months, then at the last minute had to work! [gotta keep the clients equipment running if I want to eat!]
If it works out that I can, I'll try to be there!
I know there's gonna be lots of good pickin and grinnin!

Well folks, Its getting closer to the Jam session here in Yuma. I talked to some folks and they are ready to come and have some fun. Merril Fitch said he will be comming and is looking forward to seeing everyone to have some good picking and fellowship. and food. Remember this year its potluck, so bring something that I like. Fred says "if its food I like it". Me too Fred. I hope all the boys from Kingman will be here. We had a Great time at the AZ carport pickers jam and they said they wanted to come to the Yuma jam. Come one and all.

Boys, I am so sorry to have to report to you that I won't be able to come down for the jam. We have been slammed with case orders lately, and that's a good thing. But I'm still working on building up my stock for the Phoenix Show, sorry guys.
And of course that means that Ray and Dixie Jenkins won't make it either, since I was thier ride down there. Give my share of the FOOD to Frank Carter, God knows he needs it.
See you at the show.
Time?? Yuma steel jam?
