Sounds like "Little Roy", but Clyde Harris wrote "Georgia Steel", so it must be Clyde.

BTW, That's one of the first songs I learned to play all the way through on my 6 string Silvertone electric lap steel in about 1949.

Yes, it is Curly Williams & the Georgia Peach Pickers, with Clyde "Boots" Harris on steel... Smile
