Christmas in Virgina again

Post by RANDALL COX »

I love the intro on this song on the Clinton Gregory
christmas Cd from a few years back. The steel on this cd is so good.

I believe Clinton began his career as a fiddle player backing a sister act that was popular in the early '90's (their name escapes me at the moment).. I am not familar with the particular tune or CD you referenced, but I am fairly certain that Buddy Emmons played the steel parts on Clinton's first hit, "If It Weren't For Country Music (I'd Go Crazy)".

Randall, I have Clinton's Christmas CD and it's a good 'un for sure...... Someone told me that he was playing fiddle for Dwight Yoakam now but I don't know how much truth there is to that........JH in Va.
Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!
