Dave this was very recent. I'm sure it was after the sad death of our beloved John Hughey.

Thanks Jamie...how great does it get...Vince sounded better than ever and Tommy's playing is a superb tribute to John's legacy! I'm sure the emotions were running high up on that stage/mountain...Thanks again, Carl

Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Jamie, my head is still spinning; I;ve loved that song from the day I first heard it. As many of you have been saying, " It's the first Steel Guitar Instrumental with Vocal assistance. But I am thrilled that Vince took the time to pay special tribute to our Dear & departed John. And such an honor to hear one of my favorite people, Tommy White, doing a sensational job on steel. The hair was standing on the back of my neck. Congratulations, Tommy. And thank you for the lovely write-up about Papa John; truly an exceptional job. No one could have said it any better. And I'm very thankful that Mrs. Jean and her family has a fine friend as you to give them support, during this trying time. Thanks to you, Jamie, for posting this tribute and to you, Tommy, for your very special part in Vince's tribute to our PaPa John.. God bless you all..Bernie

Did I miss a post somewhere about Vince singing a new song that he wrote about John Hughey? He made a talk about how much he thought of John and then said that he had wrote the song in the last couple of days. Tommy also did a great job on the new song. I sure hope that he records it.
