Jerry Byrd My Mentor

I wrote this song around the time of Jerry's passing. It seems so strange that someone
I never met could influence me as much as he did. This song is written on the Leavitt tuning and is among the arrangements I have available.

Simply beautiful, Roy. Maybe if Jerry had heard the Leavitt Tuning in your hands instead if mine he might have been more impressed.

Thanks Andy, John and Mike!

Mike, I agree it would have been nice to hear
what Jerry could have done with the Leavitt
Tuning. He was so great on all the others
that he played,,,,, bar none. Image

Roy... definately count me as one of your fans. Your touch and tone is suberb. Just got all the Mike's Leavitt material. Hope I can become as masterful on the tuning as you are. LEE
