I'll be steeling with The Swains at Seattle's best (and only) honky tonk, The Little Red Hen on New Year's Eve. Come say good bye to 2007 ....and to The Swains.

Fair warning: this may be your last chance to miss a Swain's gig--we're hanging it up for a while as we re-tool with a new drummer and material.

This has been a really good experience for me as it required me to try to learn my way around the E9 tuning in a trad country setting. Never had to cover stuff like "Crazy Arms" or "Rainy Day Woman" in a working band playing for the dancers all night before this. "Kroger neck" indeed!

I'll be at "My Bar" (formerly Deano's Country Place) here in Muskegon Michigan 1 1/2 miles from my front door so I could walk home if I had to. I will be playing my beautiful Blue Mullen SD10 3&5 at the last gig with my band "SUGAR CREEK", we have mutually decided to disband for an unknown period of time...we have been going pretty strong for the last 13 years and a couple of the guys say they need a break, namely my two sons,(I think they just need a break from the OLD MAN!) If anyone out there is even close, stop in and we'll make you feel welcome!!! Here's wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Sam,

Maybe your Bro. in law and sister will come out and visit NYE. With the new no smoking laws this should be a smoke free party.

My understanding is this is a brand new party room and we are the first band to play it. We'll break it in right with some good classic country music,,,,,well maybe a little bit of the good old rock and roll too! Very Happy

edited to add, that I just found out it's not a party room after all, it's in the casino lounge, ok, that's always fun! Very Happy

I will be playing at the Southside Senior Citizen Center in Springfield, Mo. . Keith Hilton said he may come out to the gala.

I have one thing to say: Keith, "The whole world is hungry for Country Music... but if you are coming to hear us... you must be starving".. Very Happy

I will be playing no where this New Years eve as I have a broken knuckle on my Rh index finger. That was 2 weeks ago and I have somewhere like 5 weeks to go. I am going completely crazy... no playing or practicing. Sad This is the longest that I have gone without playing in the 15+ years that I have been at PSG. Some body help!!!
